Brittany landscape

1)   The painter was born in 1848 and he died in 1903.
2)   First he worked as a stockbroker but he soon gave up his job.
3)   He lived and worked in Brittany, Arles, Tahiti and the Marquesas Islands.
4)   He sailed to the tropics to escape European civilization and because he was not recognized as a great artist.
5)   In Brittany at Pont Aven, he painted landscapes and Breton people.
