2000 B.C. : The Egyptians
were using a rope with 13 knots
to delineate rectangular fields.

Move the red points in order to draw the figures, before filling in the gaps with measurements.

A square with side: bits of rope.

A rectangle with dimensions:
bits of rope x bits of rope .

A rectangle which dimensions are different than the previous ones: bits of rope x bits of rope.

A scalene triangle with sides: bits of rope, bits of rope and bits of rope .

An equilateral triangle with side: bits of rope.

An isosceles triangle with sides: bits of rope, and bits of rope .

A right-angled triangle with sides: bits of rope, bits of rope and bits of rope.
