Introduction

Short description:
We create a project about chess because we know that the games are very important in increasing motivation and developping the students’ ways of thinking in different aspects.

Tools to be used: Chat, e-mail, Other software (Powerpoint, video, pictures and drawings), Web publishing

Aims:
-learning by doing and by sharing
-developing respect towards other cultures
-developing research skills by creating improving ICT skills, most notably web publishing
-improving English language skills

Work process:
- using a blog to exchange
- playing chess on line on the educative site MatPat

Expected results:
- learning how to play chess
- sharing activities about chess (origins, vocabulary in different languages, champions, tasks etc.)
